Annual UNC Bears Baseball Golf tournament 2025
The Walker family originally organized the golf tournament in 1994 in the memory of Gary and Henry Walker for the purpose of supporting the baseball program at the University of Northern Colorado. Gary and Henry had become close friends with UNC baseball coach Tom Petroff. The tournament was renamed in 2024 as the Annual UNC Bears Baseball Golf Tournament. We would like to express a much deserved thank you to the Walker family for 30 years of dedication and support of UNC baseball. Since the tournament's inception, proceeds have funded baseball uniforms, baseball and field equipment, the UNC Baseball Diamond Club, and a scholarship fund.
It's time to play autumn ball, and there is no better time to play golf. It's time to play golf for the benefit of the UNC Bears baseball program.
It's time to register. Assemble your foursome(s). Come reunite with college friends and teammates, UNC supporters, and our current UNC baseball team and coaching staff.
Many say there are only two sure things in life: death and taxes. Well, whomever said that didn't know to include this tournament and the fun we have together. Go Bears!!

UNC is the only public NCAA Division 1 baseball program in Colorado. Did you know that UNC has been to the NCAA College World Series 10 times? It has not appeared since 1974, but we would all like to see them return for #11. We hope in a small way, that this tournament and your support will help the Bears achieve that goal.
With the 2025 tournament proceeds, we will help fund The Jackson Field Turf Project and 2025 operating needs.
