Camp Description: The Future Bear Monday/Tuesday Night Hitting Classes are designed to sharpen your skills, while also learning new ways to get better before the season.  Each class will present new ways to use external focused hitting drills, build approach drills, and increase bat speed and timing.  All drills will be constructed to help each specific player, and parents are welcome to observe and take these drills home to utilize on their own.
Future Bear instruction will be led by UNC Hitting Coach Nate Rasmussen, Volunteer Assistant Coach Jake Ek, and current UNC players.  Last season, Coach Rasmussen helped revive the Bears offense, which exploded to be one of the top lineups in the Western Athletic Conference.  Learning college aged drills, combined with age specific design makes this camp a must to attend.

Areas of Emphasis:

  • Warm up Drills
  • External Focused Mechanical Drills
  • Competitive Drills
  • Approach Drills
  • Plan to Control Emotion of a Hitter
  • Development of each Players Specific Drills
