2019 Coaches Clinic ft. Anthony Brady of Driveline Baseball
Date: Thursday, January 31st
Time: 7:00 - 9:00pm
Location: Jackson Field Community Room
Clinic Overview – Thursday, January 31, 2019
This clinic is for coaches want to advance their programs through improved development through athlete assessment, individualization of programming and data collection even if faced with various challenges/lack of resources.
Anthony Brady, Driveline Baseball Biomechanist and Trainer, will be presenting on how to best attack athletic development and use of resources to advance your program. Nick Childs, UNC Recruiting Coordinator and Pitching Coach, will speak to his experience using Driveline protocols over the last 4 years at school with various resources (NAIA, NCAA D2, and D1).
We are also hosting a Throwing Camp with Anthony Brady as Lead Instructor – on Friday from 5-9 pm that all coaches who attend Thursday’s clinic are also permitted to attend. This will provide hands on context to some of the development tools discussed in the Thursday Clinic. The Friday clinic will mainly be focused on teaching Driveline Baseball’s Plyocare drills along with Rapsodo and video analysis of participants’ deliveries.
Anthony Brady – full-time employee (biomechanist) at Driveline Baseball and former UNC Bears pitcher – will lead the discussion on how coaches can integrate data collection, athlete assessment and individualized programming for teams that may not have all the resources of a top-end collegiate program or professional organization.
To go along with the presentation from Anthony Brady, UNC Pitching Coach, Nick Childs, will discuss his experience in implementing various development strategies including Driveline Baseball protocols at the NAIA, Division II, and now Division I levels as a coach. He will speak to the obstacles that have come up and the low-budget resources that he utilized through this process.
There will be plenty of time at the end for a Q & A session with Anthony Brady and Nick Childs to discuss the topics brought forth during the presentation. We want to talk to you about the successes and challenges you are having in your given environment.

All coaches who attend the clinic are also encouraged to attend the Bears Baseball Throwing Clinic on Friday, February 1. Description of the camp is below. The biggest area that coaches can benefit from attending this clinic is to see how Anthony Brady instructs the proper technique in PLYOCARE drills as well as outlines the most important parts of the pre-throwing preparation and post-throwing recovery for pitchers.
